Ripe Burlesque Troupe
Carmen de VineBorn in a little fishing village in spain, her mother a flamanco dancer and her father makes nice pies. She has danced from the day she was born, specilising in burlesque over the last few years. A passion for dance and high heel shoes moves her thru life. |
Magenta Ceriselike a phoenix rising from the ashes, Magenta Cerise rose from the valley’s of Gippsland and escaped to the city seeking colour and sound. Magenta knew there was a higher purpose for her skill in mixing pinks. She met Carmen de Vine and so began her dancing career. She often wears pink! |
Belle ApocalypseBy day a respectable teacher, owner-builder and mother of two, by night a devastating vision of tantalising tease. After doing school lunches, the laundry load and mending the carport roof, she swaps the hammer for some glamour, slips into the fishnets, and really gets cooking. Belle had her Domestic Burlesque epiphany whilst cleaning a spilled drink at a party. The floor, the dish cloth, the music, the night – the gyrating rhythm of Belle’s scrubbing brought the party to a standstill . A new routine was born and Belle had found her calling. |
Cherry LiciousComing from the cheeky rear end of the globe, the southern tip of the Land of the Long White Cloud, Cherry Licious first took to the stage leaping swords and doing the fling as a kilt-wearing Highland dancer. Heavily into theatre and song in her formative years, burlesque has provided the opportunity for Cherry Licious to combine her love of dance and drama in tripping the light fantastic. |
